Meet the Crew

Sarah Gearhart
Owner, Artist, Chaos Coordinator
Gearhart Design Co. started as a side project during the height of the 2020 quarantine. What began as making wooden signs quickly snowballed into experimenting with all kinds of art mediums. After all, why stick to just one craft when you can make all kinds of fun things?
My art journey started with pottery and canvas painting, but it’s grown into so much more. These days you’ll find me creating everything from reclaimed wood pieces to sassy stickers and greeting cards, along with teaching painting classes and helping others tap into their own creativity.
When I’m not making art, you can usually find me watching hockey (Go Glads!), cheering on Georgia Southern, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Braves, binge-watching true crime documentaries, buying way too many houseplants, or being the coolest aunt to the three best kids around.
Dolly Purrton
Chief Morale Officer
Dolly Purrton is the official studio supervisor of Gearhart Design Co. Her responsibilities include sitting on artwork, showing off her booty during Zoom calls, and demanding constant snack breaks.
She specializes in quality control, emotional support, and the occasional keyboard and project sabotage.
When she’s not hard at work, Dolly enjoys terrorizing neighborhood dogs, naps, treats, judging strangers, and being the true star of the brand.
**Dolly proudly holds the title of Chief Morale Officer but is widely considered the most important member of the team.
